If you seriously want to learn the guitar, Iā€™m an experienced and dedicated teacher who has studied with some of the greatest teachers, artists, authors. I will provide you with the advantage of not only having a solid foundation on the instrument, as well as developing techniques so you can teach yourself any song any style. Acoustic, Electric, Blues, Rock, Improvising, Learning the fretboard, developing technique, and understanding music properly without having holes or missing elements that will stop you from progressing to the next level.

Learning and playing a musical instrument can be such a positive and rewarding benefit to have in your life. Whether you just want to learn a couple of chords and play some songs. or dive deep into advanced concepts and techniques. like soloing, Songwriting, Alternate tunings, creativity, playing with a slide, tapping, sweep picking, building chords and melodies, composition, modes. Improvisation, Fretboard Mastery, Harmony and Theory, Reading, working with effects With over 10 years of teaching experience. I want you to have an advantage musically, I have studied with some of the greatest musicians, authors, and educators. I attended Musicians Institute (Hollywood, Ca.) where I maintained a 96 average in Harmony and Theory (The science of music).

As a professional musician, my album of original acoustic finger-style music has been featured and played throughout the world. I have also performed live on various radio stations throughout the country. Recently I was involved in an Experimental Post-Rock instrumental project. I have also contributed product reviews for Future music.com.

I have helped and worked with many students to accomplish their own individual goals on the guitar. For instance, I worked with a student who was primarily a rock guitarist, earn the first seat in a very prestigious High School Jazz band. I've also helped students pass their NYSSMA (New York State School Association) certifications in both the Classical guitar and Jazz guitar programs. I've assisted and prepared students for Talent Shows, band auditions, open mics. music camp and college. I have worked with retirees who always wanted to learn how to play but never had the time. My rates for in-person lessons start at $40 for a half-hour to $60 an hour. I am in the process of teaching exclusively online. I have adjusted my rates to kickstart my online-only lessons.
